We're excited to announce that Project Legacy's Open Beta will launch on Friday, July 17, 2026 at 8:00 PM (GMT+1).
After months of development, testing, and community feedback, we're ready to open the gates to everyone. Open Beta marks the beginning of Project Legacy's journey, bringing a fresh take on Vanilla World of Warcraft while staying true to the spirit of the original game.
Here's what you'll be able to experience at launch:
Brand new Guardian of Hyjal world boss encounter.
Dual Talent Specialization unlocked at level 40.
Prestige Mode with long-term cosmetic progression.
Full Cross-Faction Gameplay for groups, guilds, raids, and chat.
Optional War Mode with increased quest experience.
Lorewalker Mode for players looking for a slower, more challenging adventure.
Brand new quest content throughout Azeroth.
25-player raids, updated boss encounters, and improved raid rules.
Major class updates for:
Retribution Paladin
Protection Paladin
Balance Druid
Shadow Priest
Elemental Shaman
Melee Survival Hunter
